It seems as though there are a lot of contractor job openings in Afghanistan, than it is Iraq. One of the main reasons is due to Obama bringing the troops home for the holidays. I know for KBR 31 December 2011, their 8-10 year contract will terminate for the LOGCAP III project. As you know I am in Iraq now under the LOGCAP III project. A lot of co workers are finding jobs with Fluor and Dyncorp in Afghanistan now. My predictions are after Christmas and New Years, it will be harder to secure a contract job overseas. I say this because a lot of people have either missed the previous holidays due to working overseas. Most people want to spend time home with their families..... BUT, the smart people are securing the jobs now and will try to sneak an emergency leave for Christmas, lol. But you didn't hear that from me. :)
