Are you tired of working in the U.S and making not enough money to do the things you really want to do? Six years ago I was in this same predicament. I was fresh out of the military and I knew that I could not see myself working as a salesman or working at “Sonic” as I did while in high school.
So what did I do? I started researching everything I could on contractor jobs and I found that most overseas US contractors were earning $100,000 a year! That is a lot of money and to add excitement to that….its TAX FREE money.
I had to find a contractor job so I got out of the army in 03 June 2005 and 20 June 2005, I was working overseas in Afghanistan as a cook making a lot of money. I knew it was a matter of time before I worked my way up the chain.
Six years later I am continuing to make a lot of money as an overseas contractor. The different jobs I had were MWR Associate, Administrative Specialist, Operation Specialist, Subcontract Administrator and now I am a Customer Service Specialist. I am moving around in different positions because I am trying to gain experience in different field so I can make my resume look good.
So to sum this story up, if you want to know how i did it all, continue checking back for new posts. I will give advice on writing the perfect resume to score a certain job, I will provide you with jobs that are open overseas, I will occasionally drop recruiter names and emails and so much more. Don’t miss out!
